Thinking Ahead!

I've been pre-planning next year's project... I've shown you the "Granny" from it, but now here are the key characters: "Buxom Diejob", "Lucky" (the liquor store owner) and "J.D." I'm planning to use this scene as the storyboard cover and the film's poster. I have a bunch of coloring to do on my projects that I've done over the summer before school starts, so I'll post more as I progress.

Sketch, sketch, sketch...

I haven't posted because I was BUSY sketching!! I have a 3 main projects that I'm working on this summer and I'll keep you posted on the progress as I get more pieces of the puzzles done. Here's what I did for the "NIGHT TIME" theme on 'The SketchBook Society' blog.

I had a "Dirty Bird" that I wasn't using so I converted it into one of those things that go bump in the night!

"Beware of Hole"

OK, Remember I had this on the back burner because it had a couple of problems? Well, I worked out all the kinks and here it is all finished! YAY!! I'm already planning my next Stop Motion project (now I know what to look out for and how to do things correctly!)

SPRING SEMESTER

Yay!! Spring semester is FINALLY DONE!! This, by far, was the most difficult semester of my Woodbury studenthood(YES, I totally made up the word "Studenthood"). Later, I'll be posting the two films I did and I'll keep you posted on my Summer projects, Summer school, etc., etc. Trying to keep myself busy!

(on a side note: what's up with this new format on Blogger? I can find ANYTHING! It took me 10 minutes to figure out how to do my new post!! DANG IT!!)

Jade in Progress

I haven't had time to scan in a lot of my "Jade 6" drawings due to other projects, but I have been working on the film piece by piece! There's a scene where Jade blows the Bad Guy's door off it's hinges and I have some backgrounds for that and I have to pencil test the door blowing off part (I'll show you later). But here are the notes I did on how I wanted to have the door come off.

Alien Invasion(update)

OK, so I'm thinking about new stories to storyboard and I thought up a cool one on the way home from Vegas last month about a kid who believes in aliens... I'll clue you in on the rest of the scoop later, I have to do some other prep work for the blog..

Jade 6 is coming right along, I had to put her and everything else on the back burner while I got through midterms and my Junior Studio project sucks up a lot of time. I have to devote more time to my blog!!

WARNING! Zombie Weather

The SketchBlog theme this week was "Weather", I figured everybody else would go for sunny or rain, so I went for perfect Zombie weather!

At first I thought this was going to be a hard theme, but I really enjoyed making the zombies and the fog was secondary!

"Rock the Casbah"

I choose the theme this week for our sketch blog- "Odd/Weird Song Title or Lyrics". The opening line in "Rock the Casbah" by the Clash is 'Now the King told the Boogie men, You have to let that raga drop...' I made a sketch of that-
