Revised Rats

I'm taking some classes this Summer at Woodbury and I plan to get some chunks of my Senior project done this Summer and then continue doing blocks of it so that when Senior year comes all I have to do is work out some of the kinks because the major parts will be done already!

I have narrowed my choices down to 3 films that I have in mind for the project, the other two I just want to make for my profolio. I'm going to do pieces of all three and whichever one is the closest to being done will be the one I choose to use for the Senior film. We'll see... I could just change my mind altogether!!

The Rats are in the running, so I'm polishing them up- here's the latest on them:

NMAS Internship

I recently started an Illustration Internship with the National Museum of Animals & Society doing their online Activity Book for kids. So far it's been pretty fun! Here are some of the sketches that I've done so far for the coloring and activity pages:

My Hooker Obsession!! (Hee Hee)

OK- so... In my "On the Back Burner" folder is this Hooker that I have been dabbling with. I only had her head drawn for the longest, but I recently have been playing with her body(this sounds soooo DIRTY!!) so I test drove the head on these three different bodies. I think pose "C" is the winner!! I'm gonna revise "A" & "B" because I like the poses, but they are just too stiff(hee, hee- that sounds bad too!)

I plan to color version "C" so look for that to be posted soon.  And I have the title card done for her background, I just needed the right pose. I love my tramp!

Today: Woodbury Workshop

I just got back from a CTN workshop hosted by Woodbury. "Animation Master Class and Filmmakers Conversation"
Animator, Director, Filmmaker Reno Armanet. It was pretty interesting! The French process of getting animations made into film is government funded! They said "The French get money to make art and the Americans make art to get money!"

I met some cool animators and exchange info-Networking is the BEST! I found out about two websites to check out: AnimationBuzz.com- it's a blog for animators and Vimeo.com- host your short films like YouTube.
